hey guys! :)

i just got a new computer xD :DDDDDDDDDD!!!!!

SO RIGHT. lemme blog about the past few days:

7th June, Thursday

gordon cancelled our tuition session so i could go for the PC SHOW 2012 :D
it was held at suntec city...... so, i took a train to promenade station then made my way to the place =o had to walk quite some distance across suntec city mall...... :X

HAHAHA i collected many brochures...... okay. decided to go home at 8++ coz i was supposed to meet joel didi afterwards :x he wanted to return my calculator to me...
installing auditionsea and diablo 3 at the moment... sleep deprivation T.T
so i met him at hougang ave 8 de mcdonalds :x and he bought me mcspicy set...... :D
SO KIND OF HIM :X
the food and drinks sucked, though. NOT YOUR FAULT, JOEL :P

afterwards, we went to the park in front of my house...... so we chilled out there and i interrogated him about his future. LOL was just actuallie asking him a bunch of questions for him to think over...
i also revealed to him much of my past as a primarie school student and secondarie school student. ah, my past~ T.T

we went to the newly-renovated playground :D then we continued to talk...... till 12++ lidat O: that's like 2 hours spent with him. LOL
okay, then i sent him off at the bus stop :x goodbye~ it's not goodbye ^^

went home to research on graphic cards and all >.< tiring...

8th June, Friday

Gordon cancelled his tuition again >.< LOL.
this time, i consulted mr HC to help me with choosing a computer. i met him at suntec citie at 1+++ :P so we started browsing the place for less than 30 minutes i think ._. i brought to the pc show all my brochures from the day before :x so he brought me to Artease to discuss the computers......
he's damn farnie lah. LOL. so, he helped me sift through the various brochures... ^_^
i would have died without him. in the end, he discussed till 4+ with me since 2.40pm
we decided on a few things lor: i7 processor, GeForce GTX 650M graphics card and at least 4 GB RAM, i think. i can't remember le
he left soon after because he had to leave for ngee ann polytechnic ): so i went back to the pc show to sift through the brochures once again to consider desktop systems since what HC did was to sift through laptop systems......

also, sherlyn meimei invited me to attend Christina Perri's concert in Singapore O.O so sudden!
so i loitered around the pc show till 7++ then left for stadium mrt coz the concert starts at 8pm at kallang theatre :B
sherlyn meimei was late :X but it's okay~ the concert didn't officiallie start till 8.30 pm

so right, CHRISTINA PERRI APPEARED :D i wasn't a fan of hers actuallie LOL but okay~
she can reallie sing sia :D but like 90% of the time, i couldn't make out her lyrics...... i suck at concerts LOL
and i have to say that this is the first time as a teenager that i attended a concert :D :D :D i attended a concert when i was reallie young with my mom once... :P we went home earlie >.< and i remembered that exiting the concert venue required a hole punched into our ticket...

okay, so she requested the barricade between the stage and the audience be removed. ISN'T SHE COOL?!

we went to pastamania at kallang leisure centre to have our dinner... -cough- xD
i had aglio olio (again) and the pasta was cooked to a nice colour o_O but it smelt of burnt pasta...... bleahs

we then took the train to serangoon where we separated :P so i headed back home~ to research more on graphic cards, i think. LOL.

9th June, Saturday

at 2 am like that, i wanted to print out the indemnity form for SCAMP (aka science camp for NUS freshmen admitting into the facultie of science) but my printer had no more ink so my verie noble father drove to mustafa to buy ink while i stayed at home to sleep becoz i was dead beat and i had to wake up at 8 am to print the form and head to nus for a stupid briefing in the morning... arghs

so i woke up at 8 ^_^ thanks to my body alarm LOL
but i left my house at 9.20 when the briefing starts at 10 LOL
i reached that lecture hall where the briefing was held at 10.20
and the briefing ended like 5 minutes later. WHAT THE FISH?
blah. okay, so i waited for the queue to end to submit my indemnitie form and pay the camp fees... while there weren't manie people present, i think a good number of them are good-looking :B so~ should i look forward to it? it's from 17 to 21 june actuallie, and i think there's an optional stayover and i heard something about going to a nightclub o_O strange camp... LOL

so i went home lor. gordon was sick >.< so no tuition again. haiyo......
i can't remember what i did at home, but i had to leave for novena because it was finallie JTS. Juniors-treat-seniors. like seriouslie overdue.
we were going to ssikkek :D some korean bbq restaurant...

i managed to find my way there :B and i had some bbq food + kimchi fried rice. good lea, the food :X not bad wor...... and it was super crowded lah. there's like a long quite just waiting for people to finish dining.

after dinner, the seniors (we) went to velocitie for a while and then headed over to united square and sat at the starbucks there. LOL just watched them talk :s

KK so after dunnoe what time, i went home. YAYYYYY BLARDIE HEEL i wanted to go home so badlie.

but i went to meet my father at buangkok coz we're going to the airport to pick up my mom who was returning from hong kong :B so we reached the airport at 11+... and waited for like 30 minutes before she came out
then we went home >.< tired to the maximum...

10th June, Sunday

i woke up at dunnoe what time T.T so tired lah. we're supposed to go to the pc fair today to finallie buy the computers. i spent my time until 6++ RESEARCHING ON GRAPHIC CARDS. i've learnt quite a lot about computers for the past few days o_O did you know that Nvidia GeForce 660M is actuallie not as good as Nvidia Geforce 580M? LOL. i thought the larger the number, the better, but i was wrong and we can't compare directlie the different numbers for laptop and desktop graphic cards...... i learnt so much!

sammel was reallie nice to accompany me :B so my mom left hougang station first for the pc show while i waited for sammel to come to the platform...... we took the train to dhoby ghaut and changed line to esplanade station ^_^

we went to the lenovo booth coz i wanted to check out the laptop that i intended to get... LOL. which is the laptop i am using now :x
turns out that it was the last set available so i called my mom manie times to come to the booth to check the laptop out before some other person decided to buy the laptop...... so after 15 minutes or something, she arrived :B and we decided to grab it...... at that moment, got someone else interested in that model lor :x but so sorrie...... we got it first >.<

xD so my mom enquired if we could buy the displayed set (the laptop on display) for a cheaper price and we could =o so we got this laptop for 100 dollars less...... xD
and i was prettie unhappie with my mom lor. <.< as in there was annoyment.

we soon went to check out dell...... coz i wanted to get a desktop for my brother :B initiallie, we talked about having two desktops which are the same lah, but it would cost 4000 dollars and my mom was like :@ :@ :@ LOL.
so now i've alleviated 600 dollars for her~ :P

so went to the main dell booth first but the maximum deal we could get was 150 dollars off...... so my mom went to some other booth which was also selling the desktop o_O btw, the desktop we wanted to buy was built-to-order at the main dell booth, meaning we had to wait for 3 weeks for it to be delivered to our place.
but the other booth we went to was displaying that desktop :B

my mother is seriouslie pro. she — by her words — negotiated with the booth boss for deals...... and LOLOLOL she managed to get a further 30 dollars off XDDDDDDDD with a free 8 GB thumbdrive given and some HDMI cable i think o_O she's seriouslie daebak. though i was mad at her because i am a pettie noob, she is essential at an IT fair. LOL.

lalala~ so we left the venue at 9+++++++ closing 10 to collect our laptop. we also bought the displayed desktop, by the way ^_^ which according to the sellers of that booth was merelie displayed for four days and not turned on o_O LOL. Good as new =D

we lugged our goodies back to buangkok station where we waited for our father to transport us to char-grill bar in front of our house to have late dinner...... so we were over there eating and chatting LOL. :P

after that, sammel and i brought our stuff home and i delivered some pails to my father who was washing his car :x then i walked with sammel to his house... then i went home. then i bathed. and opened my laptop box. okay.
