yesterday, i went to new york new york with mom :B we had a great meal there! igottoorderthelunchsetxD eventhoughiwentatnight... well, the auntie there let me :B

the lunch set comes with the main course, mushroom soup as well as ice lemon tea...
surprisingly, the soup bowl was filled up :B unlike the usual times where it'd be less than half-filled...
the garlic bread that came with it was hot and crispy, too!

the auntie waitress gave me a $8.90 chocolate smoothie to me instead :D she knew i liked it...... such hospitalitie :D
mom was given a cup of ice lemon tea too, free of charge......
the mexican breaded chicken (my main course) was deliciously-cooked, too :B


and so, soon came my discussion with the outlet manager. there was a dispute recentlie at the restaurant (26 May) between me and the chef. it was heavilie implied that i was to be dismissed from work.
so i discussed matters with the outlet manager. it was a long hour and more of talking.
it was not pleasant, surelie.

on agreement, she will ask the higher-ups for their verdict on my dismissal — whether to officiallie sack me or to keep my employment status. the outlet manager told me that there was a meeting and they wanted to have me fired because i was "just a part-timer" but my outlet manager told them not to and to just suspend me from work in the meantime.

"just a part-timer"? just for making a complaint because i suffered injustice and hostility?
just for fighting for my rights? how convenient.

Guys, this is how ThaiExpress Concepts look at their part-time workers — dispensable low-wage pieces of shit.

I shall proceed with making a claim against my employers or appealing against unfair dismissal. i'm just waiting for them to give me the reason for the decision of having me fired.

i? well, auntie emilie alreadie gave me a chocolate smoothie free of charge... what's left owed to me is $3.10...
maybe i should let it go? as a compassionate person?

............................................. well, if they want to fire me, they need to give me 1 day's notice as well as pay what's in arrears within 3 days of termination or i can lodge a claim.
and if i don't want to accept the dismissal, i can appeal against it if i felt it was an unfair one...

i'm thinking of being willing to let this matter go on account of ate emilie's drink.
but i will send a clear message to those higher-ups that i'm not any mere part-timer they can refuse to respect.
