on another note, hi! i went to thailand this month :P from 6 Dec to 11 Dec
i met up with my thai friend, glenn :P as well as his friend, May
and i also met up with Pim xD
this time, i didn't shop at platinum fashion mall. instead, i explored the siam area and i think i'm a little familiar with the place now :P
my abilitie to read thai has also increased, but my listening is still bad
and speaking... kinda bad :(

i watched two movies with glenn :D Big Hero 6 and I Fine Thank You Love You (a thai movie which had NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES AT ALL)
understood maybe 10% of what was blabbered in the thai movie? :x
sigh......

on the first day, we woke up at like 6++ and went to the airport :s and we took Thai Airways wor :D
i haven't taken a non-budget airline for so long... all this while, i had been taking Jetstar...
so, good experience :D
before boarding the plane, one can take some newspapers on a stand outside the aeroplane's door, so i took a Thai newspaper
and when the air stewards and air stewardesses saw me with the newspaper, they spoke thai to me LOL

there was breakfast provided on the plane :D it was rather delish~

we arrived at the airport after around two hours, and glenn and may were waiting at the arrival section :P

while my parents and sister took a cab to the hotel first, i went with glenn and may to ride may's car
may's car was low on petrol so she drove to DUNNOE WHERE to top up a particular kind of petrol called Benzene before driving back to bangkok to the hotel to meet my family who was waiting for us for like 30 minutes and more LOL :x
coz may and glenn didn't know the way either............

anyway, once we reached the hotel, the six of us took may's car and she drove us to Hua Lamphong to park her car so that we would take a cab to Yaowarat (aka Chinatown in Thai) to have shark's fin soup :B
because there's no parking lot in chinatown, you see
and when onlie the three of us were in the car before arriving at the hotel, they were talking a lot
but when my family joined us in the car, DEAFENING SILENCIOOOO
HAHAHA

okay, so we had shark's fin soup and it was glenn's and may's first time trying it

afterwards, they brought us to a placed called Sampheng
WHERE THEY SOLD LINE STUFF OMGGGGGGG
you know the line toys i bought at central forum in school at $5 a piece?
OVER HERE, IT'S BEING SOLD AT I THINK 2 DOLLARS? AND THEY'RE OF THE SAME SIZE AND KIND OMGGGGGGGGGG
but manie of the toys looked deformed lah
BUT HOR YOU KNOW FOR AROUND SIX SINGAPORE DOLLARS
I GOT A LINE TOY THAT IS AROUND 15 cm LARGE?!
HAHAHAHAHA next time don't want buy from the line auntie in school liao :x just wait till i go to bangkok again *-*

at around 5 pm+, glenn and may brought me to their university nearby
they were having a BOOM ceremonie kinda thing where juniors surround their graduating seniors and dance and cheer and make a RACKETTTTTTTTTT
and their school looks reallie old and run-down......
their school looks like an old primarie school in singapore :s makes me appreciate the state of my university even more...

afterwards, may drove glenn and me to some mall and dropped us off there to go back home, and glenn brought me to have dairy queen ice-cream :P
and then we walked to siam and browsed the malls there...... taking lots of pictures too :P

glenn brought me to write a message to the Thai King in a book in some mall, and i wrote in Thai "I wish you good health and happiness always" xD
then we went to mcdonald's at some mall I DON'T KNOW WHICH
it's so confusing, because the malls in siam are called Siam Paragon and Siam Square and Siam Centre LOL
but i know siam paragon is the old old one which i didn't go to
so it's either siam centre or siam square, but i don't know :x
so, i ordered corn pie :P my favouriteeeeeeee
right now they're having a promotion where it goes at 19 baht a piece :D it used to be 25 baht a piece

DAY 2, glenn and may waited for us at siam paragon in the afternoon and we all went to Chatuchak weekend market :D
i got to buy some essential oil stuff for two people back in singapore, AND MORE IMPORTANTLIE I GOT TO TRY THE COCONUT ICE-CREAM
they serve it in a coconut husk with the coconut flesh peeled for you, and there is a scoop of ice-cream and also toppings like corn and whatever else :P
there were also variations. one seller allowed us to add whatever topping we liked and however much we wanted, while another added nuts o_O like peanuts and coconut flesh and ice-cream? ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR??????? LOL

i also got to try a bunch of other foods... such as some roast pork and other stuff which i do not remember :(
but the vietnamese rolls that grace got were NOT DELICIOUS. WO BU XI HUAN CHI NA GE
BU HAO CHIIIIIIIIII

hehe afterwards, we all went to a desserts café called After You :P
glenn said it's verie popular... and there would be long queues usuallie
but there wasn't :P and we had REALLIE DELICIOUS FOOOOOOOOOOD OMG
i will post the pictures next time :P

afterwards, glenn and i bade farewell to my familie and we went to watch Big Hero 6 at the cinema :D
so expensive though :( it's 480 baht for two tickets (around 20 dollars )
over here, the advertisements can run for 30 minutes according to glenn =.=
and then before the actual movie begins, everyone has to rise and stand through a playing of a song honouring the Thai king O: it was a real O.O eye-opener, GET IT?
then big hero 6 started :P hehe it was in english ^^
while it was by the same people behind Wreck-It Ralph, i find the plot a little lacking :s i prefer Wreck-It Ralph hehe


okay. i'm feeling lazie to go on :P

hello ^^

yesterday, i started doing my Thai take-home assignment. like finallie

however, i have a bad hunch that i'm not answering the questions correctlie this time. which sarks.

and at around 7++ pm, Adam called me on the phone :3 it was my first time chatting with him
AND, WOW, I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS A LUK KHRUENG TOO OMGGGGGGGG
A LUK KHRUENG (ลูกครึ่ง = a hybrid. DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE TRANSLATE.) who could actually speak thai :B i heard him speak and i was impressed by his fluency (albeit basic) and pronunciation
GENG MAAK LOEIIII XD

i was supposed to meet Amos at 8.30 pm at hougang mall XD but i was lattttteeeeeeeeeee oops
so i decided to take a bus to hougang mall while still chatting with Adam on da phone
and finallie i met amos at the 5th level of hougang mall :3
i thought he grew taller. HAHA

we went to dessertstory ^^ he got some milk pudding while i got my old favourite — MILO SNOW ICEEEE :3
we chatted about our love life because he suggested it

afterwards, we walked to punggol park while chatting about stuff
which was about his love life lah.
we walked one loop of the running track in punggol park while i told him a bunch of stuff
like to be careful at night in punggol park because of potential perverts

it was around 10, i think, when he had to go home alreadie
of course i felt sad and all :( because i always enjoy spending time with others and i hate the farewell part
but, alright, he skipped one bus and boarded the next, so...... thanks for coming out to meet me today ^^

because i didn't want to go home yet, i decided to look for squirrel :3 and surprisinglie, he was free!
so i walked over to his house and i entered his house, and i greeted his father and noisie Schnauzer, washed my feet, took Ritter Sport white chocolate from the fridge and went to his comfie room :3
what did we talk about?

we talked about school stuff, and he talked to me about his crarsch
he was verie hospitable :3 we also listened to music on Spotify
i told him manie moralistic stuff too, and he agreed LOL
then, i showed him my Thai 4 group project video :3 and i think he laughed a lot :3
he was then pestering me to watch a movie, but i don't like watching movies, so i suggested we watch Sherlock Holmes instead
and we sure watched it through very legal means! :D

he was CHATTERING WHILE THE SHOW WAS PLAYING, AND ALSO USING WHATSAPP WHILE THE SHOW WAS PLAYING :@ :@ HOW TO ENJOY THE SHOW LIDAT?!
:x but the show was verie nice. i liked it a lot :) even though it's my second time watching that episode (A Study in Pink)

at around 1.49 am, we went to the coffeeshop near his place and he ordered a $3 plate of char kway teow and a $5 plate of oyster omelette
OMG.
IT WAS TOTALLIE DELISHHH

it was so worth the money too bad i was fiddling with instagram so the food turned slightlie cold when i ate it :(

afterwards, we went back to his place because he wanted to use the restroom, and then we left again for punggol park to gai gai :D
i introduced him to the wonders of stargazing :D we saw Sirius, Constellation Orion as well as Betelgeuse, the red star :D
he was like AMAZEDDD by the stars xD

we also walked around the new developments near punggol park, all the concrete buildings that obscure the natural sights of that place
we walked past a church near punggol park, and we saw this on the wall :D


we walked and walked and walked around while he whatsapp-ed a friend of his called nick nick
nick nick has a nice voice o_O so does squirrel
and i find it admirable that they dare to sing to each other through voice messages. i'm the rather shie type, so i'd NEVER sing to anyone unless it's a singing competition or at a karaoke lounge. sigh......
plus i'm afraid i'll sing like shyte and lose my face so i just refrain :x

we walked around serangoon secondary school. squirrel pointed out to me a new bus service o_O 324
which is close to 325 LOL
which reminded me that it made sense because 325 serves the hougang area, so 324 should too
Genius deduction.

Eagle-eyed squirrel actuallie spotted a frog behind the school fence O.O


yeap. so, we also went up to the eighteenth storey of some newly-constructed flat, and we finallie saw the moon O: behind the clouds of differential grey

squirrel started to tell me nonsense too about H and i was rather ticked off, and soon we parted ways, not before i thanked him for meeting me ^^

i freaking crawled home from all the fatigue... i managed to bathe and brush my teeth and use the mouth rinse too coz of some bad infection of my tongue, and then i collapsed on my bed at 5 am+......

and today, i woke up at 12 pm + ^^

chatted with adam on the phone just now too ^^ it's nice to chat with him
if onlie i could chat with some other people in particular...... that would be great

hello~

i went for my wisdom tooth extraction last saturday @@
it didn't hurt as badlie as the first time
maybe because i asked the dental surgeon to increase the anaesthesia dosage :s
it hurt initially when THE FREAKING NEEDLE POKE INTO MY GUMS ;___;
and then he just twisted the needle WHILE IT WAS IN MY GUMS to inject the local anaesthesia to other parts of the gum...

@_@

there were basicallie two parts to the extraction -- the digging and the drilling
as for the digging, i think he used some tool to try to force the tooth upright, or he had to pick into the tooth like a pickaxe and then scoop the tooth upwards
then, there was the drilling... it had the metallic mist-kinda taste as he was cutting my tooth material :(
it gradually hurt as he drilled deeper into the tooth @@
and then it reached a peak that was still bearable
then he told me that half the tooth was out alreadie
then he got the other half out
then he stitched my gums up
then i crie :(
just kidding
LOL

yup. the whole of my right mouth was numb from the local anaesthesia. even pinching my lips with my nails didn't hurt

THE NEXT DAY, THOUGH, IT HURT LIKE FROGGING SHISH

last wednesday, i went for korean CCA :B aka KCIG meeting
that day, we made KIMBAB!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO
HAHAHA :B PREPARE TO SEE MY MASTERPIECE

first, you needa set a piece of seaweed (called Kim 김) on da aluminium foil / bamboo roller

put, as the vice-president of our club said, a FISTFUL of marinated rice onto the kim. then, spread out the rice leaving two margins and lay the ingredients on the rice. then, roll the kimbab up with the help of the bamboo roller like so

then, you gotta dabble a bit of sesame oil on the edges of the kim to act as a kind of glue, after which............

the wednesday before last wednesday, i met up with xing cai and cassandra :D
we met at vivocity and ate at Le Nu

:3 the food was delicious! especially the kangkong
and da tofu with century egg
the bowl of beef noodles was good too, but i found the quantity rather little :x

that's the Cony I gave cassandra as a birthday present :D together with the kangkong and tofu with century egg =x i gave xing cai a Brown too as his birthday present, and both Cony and Brown have the same scarf. cassandra and xing cai are a couple anyway, that's why i gave them the two toys in particular =x

after our dinner, we walked around vivocity and entered Action City, and they were also selling the LINE TOYS THAT I BOUGHT DAYS AGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DDDDDDD:
but they were charging 13 dollars a piece =x while i bought mine at 5 a piece HAHAHA

we took a bus from the bus stop in front of vivocity and went to SAFRA Mount Faber :B to try Ice Cream Chefs for desserts!
i had wanted to work here de during my holidays but too far LOL
we were attended to by some moodless, sloppy girl :x i had expected it le.
well, it was pretty deserted (GEDDIT?) and it must have been a bore working there :x that's why she was so siannnnnnnn

xing cai chose the crème brûlée flavour while cassandra chose the turkish apple flavour and i chose the salted caramel flavour
needless to say, the salted caramel was not the best flavour but the turkish apple was :3
we had a little wafer bowl too :x

after we finished our desserts, xing cai led us to dunnoe where in telok blangah so that i could buy some drinks LOL
while walking, my joke-making capacity was impaired and couldn't make those super funnie jokes LOL
anyway, we walked for around 20 minutes, trudging through the southern roads of singapore
and then reached some FairPrice supermarket
and i bought some local soya milk
to drink :x

cassandra and i took the train home together from telok blangah station and we bade farewell to mr xing cai =x
on the way home, we talked about grossology, the exhibition at the Singapore Science Centre more than ten years ago HAHAHA
we bade farewell too soon after :x

the day before that wednesday, i went for a dental appointment because i felt pain in my lower-right molars :( macam tooth decay lidat
after the appointment, i loitered around town. i went to *SCAPE to watch a bunch of girls have their handball training. got one guy inside also lah :x not-bad-looking HAHA
anyway, i saw this thing on a pillar at *SCAPE where people wrote down what they wanted to do now to be happy:

we saved OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

after our dinner, we had llao llao yoghurt :D

honey jam and i shared a "senum" cup where one can get much yoghurt, three fruit toppings, one crushed toppings (M&Ms, oreos etc.) and a drizzle of sauce (we chose white chocolate :B) and it was DELICIOUSSSSSSSS
and it was only 5.90 dollars, i think!

there was this girl in our buddy group who's a total ahlian towards me lor. so antagonistic
hmph! that's the global studies ahlian i was talking about at the kimbap part of this blog entrie :x

WAS EARLIE for lab... met david at 9.50 am to pick up our Palme's tubes around the Faculty of Science which we placed two weeks ago :3
we then proceeded with our experiment to determine the NO₂ gas concentration in our tubes :3
cool, right?

Dr Liew (a lab technician in the laboratory) was complaining to a few Teaching Assistants and students about Professor Watt's haphazard planning of the analytical chemistry part of the lab module :x
everyone gave the awkward, paiseh, constipated face...... like don't know what to say
i see le, so i said "就是 lor!" as she was complaining
then everyone laughed LOL
come on, guys, have some berls to speak up.

neeway, we ended our lab earlie :D at like 3 pm! omg i typed "3 am" LOL
then we had some western food :3 i ordered chicken chop while he ordered fish and chips
and then david confessed his love prejudice towards me for being a naughty boy during our biologie lab session in Year 1
LOL......

neeway, i went for thai class afterwards :3 earlie? i don't remember...

after class, i checked facebook and my ex-classmate, Sean, tagged me in a post telling me that LINE toys were being sold at central forum

stayed at home in the morning to do my Understand the Universe assignment :( so i missed Malay tutorial
but i went to attend the morning organic lecture at 10 am :3 which was the last lecture by Professor Zhao Yu :(

then after tutorial, i went back to central forum :D coz it's da last day of the small sales fair
but when i alighted from the shuttle bus, i was feeling disappointed because i saw from a distance that some stall was alreadie packing up :(
i thought it's the stall that sold the LINE toys...
i was supposed to meet honey jam over there so that we could visit the stall together...
neeway, i sneaked around to see the place more closelie, like hid behind some pillar
to my pleasant surprise, the stall selling the LINE toys was still there :D
so i approached the stall again (in essence) and chose SIX MORE TOYS TO BUY XD
bye bye $60~~ T.T

afterwards, i rode honey jam's car to bedok mall and i got the KFC rice bucket to eat while i chose questions for my students to do later during tuition

they were late sia :@ they're supposed to be there at 7 pm!
so that we could end at 10 pm!

that day, the tuition centre was emptie sia... onlie the three of us were present
yaaaaaa. after tuition, i crawled home......

nothing on today! but i went for korean CCA :P from now onwards, it's known as KCIG (Korean Cultural Interest Group)
so i speciallie crawled to school to attend CCA at 6 pm
waited at YIH plaza
then Jaslyn came (she's our club president) and led us all to the venue where we're having korean lessons!
JJ was there, and we were walking up the stairs beside each other

i smiled at him

there was this shuai korean guy who talked to me
his name is Eddie. the eddie i know of in my life was a funny (read: ugreh) guy LOL
but this Eddie had a nice complexion and facial features :3
while JJ and the rest of the noobs attended the Beginner's class (taught by the club's vice-president who's a beautiful filipino), a few people and i got taught by a number of premium, good-looking Koreans :3 and Eddie and Seohyun became our teachers
my buddy student was some guy called Kwok Cheung :3 i thought he's some random noobie boobie
quite good-looking too
and he was taking the Intermediate class while I -clears throat- took the Advanced class
HAHAHAHAHA
i was given a text on the Tortoise and the Hare in Korean WITHOUT ANY ENGLISH SUBTITLES
and read the passage to eddie and seohyun together with kwok cheung

then, we had a few questions to answer macam reading comprehension :3 but hor, i also asked for the meaning of some words in the passage
and seohyun was like having a hard time explaining to me LOL
she was genuinelie in pain HAHAHA

makes me kinda miss Korean lessons in school where our very proficient lecturers would explain things verie easilie...

eddie and seohyun were surprised (in the shocked but good way) that i took Korean 6 :x macam chua tio LOL
after lessons, and some briefing on a Korean trip, honey jam, kwok cheung, pearl and i went to have dinner :3
we all took the train to bedok to eat mcdonald's over there (yay) where i found out kwok cheung was actually the ex-president of the club last year, i.e. some BIG SHOT WORRRRRRR
and we all talked about stuff
and lame jokes
and i gained the ire of theirs for my non-sense

then, i took the train to pasir ris
where my father drove me home :) even though it was 11+++

thursday
went for thai class at 12 pm
was late even though i woke up earlie
and my teacher told me to "bring my friends along to learn next time" after i posted the above photo on our Thai 4 facebook group
so i did LOL
and she was like ._______. LOLOL

after lessons, i went to clementi to meet shao-wei :3 for lunch
haven't seen him for quite some time wor

we had fish and co. after thinking of what to eat... we had the best table — beside the window facing the bus terminal downstairs LOL
look at my food!


looks good, right? :D

the soup tasted phenomenal. it was fish chowder
but i thought that they didn't cook it for long enough because i could still see lumps in the soup
and you only see lumps when you didn't cook it for long enough, right?

as for the prawn fettuccini with chili cream sauce, i must say that looks can be deceiving LOL
it was tasteless lah. disappointed :( but at least there were five glass prawns for me to nomnom :3

after eating, i taught shao-wei some basic korean expressions
afterwards, i asked him to take a photo of me :3

i went back to school late for lab lecture
stewpeed lecture... and david was getting slightlie angrie again. CALM YOUR SELF LOL
then i went for malay class at 4.50 pm :( there was a one-hour malay test :(
which i completed in forty minutes LOL
so, never mind... :x
i didn't know the meaning of meriah and pelbagai aktiviti... so, sheet
otherwise, the class test went well (?)

right after class was the Thai language programme welcome tea :3
after the welcome tea ended and it was time for refreshments, i spoke to a bunch of people including:
a group of four thais named M, Khong, Touché and Win (well, we spoke less than ten sentences to each other)
a group of Thai 1 students who thought i was thai :3
some ex-teachers of mine including Aajarn Pornwipa (blessing from the sky) and Aajarn Sasiwimol :3
and also to this Thai-Chinese guy (born 1992) who had freaking white skin

we took the train back :3 at one point in time, there was this man sitting in front of me with his camera pointing at me
and i got reallie suspicious and uncomfortable.

wasn't feeling so well that day. because of withdrawal.

friday
went to school. slightly late for organic chemistry lecture
the retrosynthesis part of the module was over, so now came the spectroscopic analysis part
and there was a surprise test ._. on NMR
which i did only averagely well for
then got quantum chemistry lecture
which was a little boring and i was falling asleep @@ so tired... coz didn't eat breakfast, so no energie :(

then it was Understanding the Universe lecture
and i sat beside ketchup again :D
the lecturer said that today's lecture was gonna be a short lecture
then ketchup said to me "it's gonna be a short lecture, bro!" in the exaggerated way :D
which i felt was quite brotherlie...... @@
was shutting my eyes for a long period of time during lecture because i was so tired
and he asked if i was tired...
and i said "yea, coz i didn't eat breakfast, that's why"
and he said "orh..."

after the lecture, he asked where i wanna go
and i said to the restroom
then he said "let's go together!"
LOL!
SHYYYYYYYYYY DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
so we did go to the restroom and used adjacent cubicles to dehydrate
which was quite brotherlie of him LOL
WHY SO BROTHERLIE?!!!!!?? XD

shall see him next, next week after the recess week :3

met esmond for lunch :3 we queued at the western food stall again
and i met jonathan, my ex-lab partner =o who was queuing for western food too
the three of us sat together and Jonathan reallie improved in his jokes
made me laugh spontaneouslie sia LOL
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
was laughing so much XD until couldn't eat properlie

esmond then went for his lecture while jonathan sent me off at the science block (S5) and then i went for organic chemistry tutorial
hais... i suck at organic chemistry :( scared get bad results sia

after class, went for dance class :3 D'Hoppers
introduced myself to this guy called Louis
handsome, dyed, brown hair, black-rimmed glasses, handsome LOL
and he has two left feet like me LOL
but hor, i think i got the hang of the coordination a little bit
i love moving my bodie :3

after class, i had dinner with a few girls from the same dance class
and then i went home lor

tired.................

alright. lastlie, saturday
went for tuition
which ended at around 4 (WHAT THE FONG) because this was the last session coz their exams are next week (this coming tuesday or something) and i had to go through the answers for the full paper i gave them to do
then i took the train to somerset where i met joya :3 at astons
with her friend
whose name i know not
and i ordered a wagyu burger with top-up for the supreme salad buffet O:
okay. had delicious food :3 not too delicious, though

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. came home afterwards at around 6++

oh yea. in the morning where i took the bus to hougang interchange to go for tuition, there was this boy who stood beside me on the bus
handsome...... complexion was good... dyed hair. nice shoes. nice outfit. sling bag.
.................... had the urge to go up to him and make friends with him
but after we alighted, i was too scared
sigh......

MAKE FRIENDS ONLIE HOR. he looked like those people who would like friends
